The following are the definitions used in sales and reservation

3rd person sharing / Triple Sharing |
A 3rd person sharing option is when 3 guests share one cabin or room with his or her own bed |
Twin Sharing |
2 Single Beds in one room (Bed size is 100cm x 200cm – Cocotinos; 80cmx200cm – MV Odyssea 1) |
Double Sharing |
1 King Bed in one room (Bed size is 200cmx200m) |
FIT |
Free-Individual-Traveler, not on full charters or half charters or in group bookings for Cocotinos that are 2 rooms or less. |
Cruise Dates |
Date of embarkation and disembarkation of guests for a given sailing itinerary. |
Enquiry/Inquiry |
An enquiry/inquiry is made when a party submits a question on availability for a specific period/schedule on MV Odyssea 1 or for Cocotinos accommodation |
Reservation/Booking |
A reservation/booking is made when an enquiry for availability is positive. An invoice will be raised for the reservation/booking and send to enquirer for payment. However, it is not a confirmation of acceptance of the reservation/booking by Odyssea until full payment is received. |
Confirmation of Service Exchange |
A confirmation of service exchange will be issued to the enquirer once full payment is received for the reservation/booking. |
Enquiries/Inquiries can be accepted by verbal or written method of communications. However, Reservations/Bookings are given in writing only and the enquirer will receive an invoice requesting for payment to confirm the reservation/booking. Once full payment is received, a Confirmation of Service Exchange Voucher will be issued.
The terms and conditions set forth for all payments and cancellations made with Odyssea Divers for MV Odyssea 1 are listed below.
Deposits and Payment for MV Odyssea 1
Free-Individual-Travelers – MV Odyssea 1
30% of the cruise rate is due within 14 working days of reservation to secure booking. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
For cases when Odyssea invoices an individual or company on behalf of the charterer, the payment & cancellation terms may vary from the agreement set herein as it is then up to the charterer to specify the payment & cancellation terms.
Confirmation of Service Exchange will only be issued by Odyssea to the guest upon full payment being received by Odyssea.
Charters and Half Charters – MV Odyssea 1
For Charters and Half Charters the following payment terms will apply:-
- A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the invoiced amount within 30 calendar days from the date of the invoice. For reservations that include the 24th December, 25th December, 31st December or 1st January, the deposit is due within 14 calendar days from the date of the invoice. This deposit is transferable to another party but the cruise dates of the charter can not be changed.
- A second refundable deposit of 30% of the invoiced amount is due 180 calendar days prior to the starting date of the cruise. This second deposit is transferable to another party but the cruise dates of the charter can not be changed.
- Final payment for the balance (60%) is due 90 days prior to the starting date of the cruise.
- Full payment must be made for charters and half charters before a confirmation of service exchange voucher will be issued by Odyssea for MV Odyssea 1 to the charterer.
Odyssea reserves the right to disallow any registered guests to board the vessel if he or she fails to make payment in full.
Deposits and Payment for Cocotinos, Odyssea Divers
Free-Individual-Travelers & Group – Cocotinos, Odyssea Divers
Unless otherwise stated in specific promotional sales literature, to confirm a reservation/booking, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total sum payable must be received by Odyssea within 14 days of the date of the invoice.
The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to guest(s) check-in. If a reservation/booking is made within 30 days prior to the date of check-in, full payment is required to confirm the reservation/booking.
CANCELLATION and AMENDMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Amendments or cancellation of confirmation of service exchange must be made in writing to avoid misinterpretation and misunderstanding. Any amendment of arrival and departure date is subjected to availability and acceptance by Odyssea.
Unless otherwise stated in the sales literature, the following cancellation charges will be applied to each invoice.

Before check-in, all changes to reservations/bookings are subject to availability and if any modification is requested, the new reservation/booking must the same or of greater value to the one already paid for.
For MV Odyssea 1, Deposits and vouchers for Confirmation of Service Exchange are transferable to other parties subject to Odyssea’s acceptance of the transferee. However, the cruises dates as indicted in the voucher can not be changed.
Any bank charges or third-party administration fees that may arise from any cancellation or amendment shall be borne the guest.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All guests are to have a valid visa (if required) and international passport with a minimum of SIX months’ validity from the date of entry into Indonesia. Odyssea will not be responsible for any inconveniences and incidentals caused by the failure of the guest to undertake this responsibility (including the verification of visa requirements). If any of Odyssea’s guests should be refused entry into Indonesia, for any reason whatsoever, Odyssea reserves the right to apply the “No-Show” cancellation policy.
TRAVEL INSURANCE and DIVE INSURANCE
Insurance is mandatory for all guests (diving and non diving participants) onboard MV Odyssea 1; the insurance policy must cover international emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, baggage loss, hospitalisations, medical treatments including hyperbaric recompression, etc.
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for all guests staying in Cocotinos. For diving guests, the insurance should provide coverage for scuba related injuries and international evacuations in addition to other standard travel insurance policy coverage. Odyssea will not take any responsibility whatsoever for any expenses that may be incurred through lack of adequate insurance coverage taken up by the guest.
Odyssea shall assume that the guest has duly been recommended the benefits of having suitable travel insurance.
DIVE CERTIFICATION PROOF
All guests participating in scuba dives must present their dive certification card and/or dive log book for verification. Odyssea reserves the right to reject any dive participation or suggest a refresher course if any scuba participant is unable to perform dive skills at level deemed safe to continue participation in normal diving activities.
Odyssea reserves the right to reject any participation in scuba diving activities if dive certification proof is not presented upon request.
No refunds will be granted if any guest is rejected from participating for reasons beyond the control of Odyssea (ie. failure to provide proof of dive certification/qualification or health problems) from any activities that has been prepaid.
DISCHARGED OF LIABILITIES
Odyssea and its associates act only as service providers for the transportation, accommodation, scuba diving activities, boating activities and other principal service. We accept no responsibilities for civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, illness, epidemics, accidents, injuries, damage, loss and theft, quarantine, customs regulations, changes in flight itinerary, delays, deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authorities and other circumstances beyond Odyssea’s control.
All guests participating in any form of scuba and skin diving activity (including boating, snorkelling) must sign Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk form(s).
Odyssea reserves the right to make any alterations to any itinerary as deemed necessary. Odyssea also reserves the right to cancel the whole itinerary or any part of the itinerary for any reason, including an insufficient number of participants, inclement weather, logistics, mechanical, safety considerations, etc.
